Once again the Lodge will be participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Program. For the last seven years our Lodge has been the top contributor to this program in the Vero Beach area. We are known for donating bicycles and helmets for needy children of all ages–a great tradition started by our late bartender Rosie.
In 2019 we wanted to get a head start on our toy drive and we held a Christmas in July party. This picture shows some of the toys collected. They will be stored until the drive begins later this year.
Members will bring new, unwrapped toys to the collection box located Lodge Lounge during October, November and December. The year’s Dinner-Dance fundraiser for this program will take place on December 4, 2021. Toys will still be collected after the event.
