The Wabasso School students provide their Christmas wish list and the Lodge buys presents. Members meet at the Lodge on Thursday, Dec 18, to wrap the presents. We then attend the Christmas Party at the school on the 19th as Santa delivers the gifts.
Note: The Wabasso School is a Special Education public school that serves 80 students in grades PK-12. Built in 1925, historic Wabasso School is the only school in the Indian River County School District, that is located directly on US1. Nestled among orange groves on 8 acres, this school provides a peaceful setting for students and faculty alike. Among other amenities, Wabasso School boasts an outdoor gazebo classroom, for a natural learning environment, a heated therapeutic pool, and an occupational/physical therapy room.
